When I arrived in Wales, the first thing I stumbled across was a festival featuring knights on horseback and maidens fair. Then when I drove to Scotland, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival was in full swing with more entertainment options than you could fit into any schedule. Now that’s the way travel is supposed to go.
